Steve is a Senior Associate working in the Real Estate team in Leeds.

Steve has wide and varied experience in many aspects of property law with a particular focus on development, landlord and tenant, distressed assets and real estate finance.

His recent project experience includes advising on:

• acting on behalf of a leading motorway service area operator on the sale of the whole business requiring the production ten large and complex certificates of title.
• acting on the acquisition of a set of three BSA condemned student accommodation blocks out of administration, the provision of three rounds of funding to remedy the building defects, the negotiation of a complex agreement for lease & lease with the Home Office before disposing of the assets.
• acting for an insolvency practitioner on the asset management of a portfolio of distressed assets across Manchester before ultimately disposing of the assets through a disposal strategy generating the best return for the lender.
• acting on the ground rent disposal of a portfolio of lodge holiday home sites across the UK
